Pesto di pistacchi is a typical Sicilian gastronomic product made with pistachios from Bronte. Pistachio is an oily seed rich in natural antioxidants that counteract the effect of the free radicals of cellular aging. Excellent source of minerals and vitamins. Pesto has a fresh and aromatic taste and is used to season pasta or on bread croutons. It is a salty preparation and a variant of Genoese pesto.
